Year 6 become Vikings and Saxons for the day!
Year 6 spent a great day at the ATC this week learning to fight like a Viking or Saxon! They also learnt other skills from the era such as wood cutting, fire ignition, chalk brick manufacture and textile making. A fantastic time was had by all! Thank you to all the fantastic help from our parental volunteers who made the day possible! 27/6/2018 Tuesday Night updateWe are all settling down to a movie with hot chocolate and popcorn. The sun is still shining and the children are definitely quieter than they were yesterday morning! It’s been another day of action packed activities and we are very proud of everyone for facing their fears and supporting each other. We’ve seen amazing bravery on the Aerial Adventure, climbing wall and zip wire, great teamwork in the assault course and some impressive archery skills. Two more activities and then back to school at 3.00pm tomorrow.
26/6/2018 Breakfast timeAfter a very energetic game of capture the flag, manhunt and sardines, all eventually went off to sleep. We were woken early by sunrise (at 4.50) and everyone is now tucking into a well earned breakfast. Looking forward to four activities today! Everyone is fit and healthy.
25/6/2018 A hot but fun day had by all.A beautiful first day here at Marwell. The sun has been out all day as we have all started our first activities of the trip. So much fun! A bit of dinner, a final game or two and then bed.
