Kathy Cleary
I was born in Oxford but spent much of my childhood moving around the UK following my father’s career, finally settling outside Christchurch in 1987. Schooled at Talbot Heath, I gained an LLB from UCL and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Southampton, London and Amsterdam before moving into Private Equity investing with 3i Group plc.
More recently, I ‘escaped’ back to the South West by setting up my own business helping Private Equity houses source and appraise management teams for their portfolio companies. I moved to Cranborne in 2021 and currently lead the internal finance team for a London-based wealth management firm. I work from home, live with my springer spaniel (a gundog in perpetual training) and also enjoy walking, cycling, skiing and overseas travel.
