Wren Hooper

I was born in Shropshire and went to school in Hereford. I moved for my education to Winchester and have been a fan of life in the south ever since. I have lived in Verwood with my wife Annabelle since 2001. We have two boys, the eldest currently in year 7 at Cranborne and the youngest is year 4 attending Trinity First School, Verwood.
Prior to choosing a career in nursing, I obtained a joint honours degree in History and Drama. Since leaving the NHS, I have worked delivering and guiding healthcare businesses on industry best practice, governmental regulation.
I have an extensive wealth of experience working in complex care, brain and spinal rehabilitation, acute and community settings during my nursing career which began in 1990.
I am the CQC Registered Manager and professional lead for provision of the quality of the care at the company I work for, Westcountry Case Management. This is one of the leading case management companies in the UK. I am Safeguarding Lead, level 5 qualified for my current organisation. I speak at national events within my industry.
I love all sports, particularly rugby and cricket. I enjoy flyfishing and cycling to relax!
