Computing
It is fair to say that technology has changed the world we live in. Whether we believe that this is a good thing or not, it is increasingly important that we prepare our children for life in the digital age.
As a response to this, Computing at CMS has two main aims:
Firstly, to give all children the skills necessary to be computer literate, using software efficiently to support and enhance their education.
Secondly, children learn the basics of problem solving and computer programming within a real world environment. Whether it is the identification of a problem, the design of a solution, its implementation, or the subsequent evaluation, children are taught to be robust problem solvers by means of a hands-on and practical approach.
