PSHCE

Have you ever wondered what PSHCE stands for?
Personal Social Health Citizenship Education
PSHCE deals with real life social and economic issues covering a wide variety of topics including: Health, Relationships, Risk, Personal Finance and Democracy. PSHCE contributes to children living healthier, safer lifestyles and enabling young people to make their own decisions and to take responsibility for their own lives and their communities.
Picture
Pupils have the opportunity to take part in school and community based activities which develop their personal and group responsibilities. A range of learning methods are used which allow pupils to explore issues in a way which is challenging and relevant to their lives.
In short, PSHCE could be described as learning to be a conscientious citizen, living a healthily life.
