Seona Angell
I was born abroad but lived and was educated in the UK.
I have two children and four grandchildren.
I moved to Dorset in 1987 and have worked in the field of youth justice and child protection since 2002, latterly (since 2008) specialising in the assessment and treatment of sexually harmful behaviour and the delivery of an accredited programme to assess a parent/carer's ability to protect children from the risk of sexual harm.
I took on voluntary roles for Dorset Youth Offending Team, the Dorset NSPCC Child Protection Centre (now closed), Circles of Support and Accountability and Dorset Children's Services.
Since 2011 I have worked as an independent child protection consultant in Dorset and in Somerset.
I am an executive member and Secretary of the South West branch of NOTA (National Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers) and a former trustee of 'Circles' South West and of 'Treads Youth and Advisory Service in Blandford Forum.
My hobbies are walking, tennis, music of all types, cooking and travelling.
