168 Christmas Shoe-Boxes Wing their Way to Eastern Europe

Through assemblies and Tutor Time this half term, we are thinking about our responsibilities for the wider world, especially through our support for charities including The Poppy Appeal, Children in Need, Julia's House and the Christmas Shoe-Box Appeal.  This also helps us to promote British Values by helping children to understand how they can contribute positively to society widely.  We are thrilled to have beaten last year's record total by one shoe-box and to have sent so many wonderful Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe via the Rotary Club.  Our House Captains are pictured with our Shoe-Box mountain before it was collected this morning. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic cause.
