500 Words has arrived....

BBC Radio 2 has launched this year's 500 Words competition and we'd like as many of you as possible to enter.
We're running our own competition this year alongside the BBC one. Your stories can be about ANYTHING  just as long as they don't go over 500 words. With Epraise points and our new Epraise Writer's Award up for grabs, as well as book tokens and the chance to see the winning stories published on the school website, you'd be mad not to enter. So, grab your pens, laptops and tablets and start dreaming up some stories.  

• Entries should be handed in to Mrs Eadie in Room 14 no later than Friday 8th March. 
• There will be two categories: Y5-6  and Y7-8 so make sure you make it clear which year you're in.

Why not enter your story into the BBC competition as well as the Cranborne one? All the details are on the BBC 2 website or you can watch this clip to give you some more ideas.
