Cross Country off to a strong start.

Yesterday saw our pupils compete against the best runners from across the Poole and East Dorset area. Sandbanks was the venue for the first race of the season and much of the course was run on sand! Not an easy feat!
All pupils worked hard and competed to the best of their abilities. Well done to the Year 6 pupils who all managed to improve on last year's places. A special mention should go to Freddie in Year 8 who finished 3rd behind two exceptional club athletes. Our Year 8 pupils were all competing alongside Year 9's as part of the Junior Age Group so well done to you all.

Dear Mrs Williams,
Congratulations to all who competed at the event.
Perhaps a special mention could also be made of my daughter, Lucy, year 5 (probably the youngest runner there) who also came third in her race.
Thank you
Paul Lucas
