On Guard for Year 6!

6AG and 6LT were lucky enough to experience a taster session of fencing yesterday when Premier Education came in to deliver a workshop for our pupils. The aim was to increase pupils' opportunities to participate in alternative sports that they may not necessarily experience on a regular basis. Pupils were able to learn the 'on guard' position and practice tagging each others' backs before being let loose on the foam foils! As you can see from the photographs below, our pupils thoroughly enjoyed their session.
