Quadkids Success - School Games Finals, here we come!

Our Year 6 pupils competed in the East Dorset Quadkids Athletics event at Ferndown Upper School today and they performed out of their skins! Each pupil competed in four events: 75m sprint; 600m; vortex throw and a standing long jump. Each performance is converted into points and then added together to create an overall team total. 
Both our boys team and girls team produced some exceptional performances and were announced runners up overall with a points score of 1583. Their performance was all the more remarkable due to the boys team being two team members down. 
A special congratulations to Lucy who was awarded a medal for finishing as the second highest scoring girl in the entire competition.
Both Mr Moseley and myself could not have been prouder of the whole team. Not only did they give their all in terms of effort, but the way they supported and encouraged one another during their events was heartwarming to see.
