Year 6's 'Bread and Boogie' lessons this week

This week in Food Technology, two of the tutor groups have been making bread. To encourage them to knead for over 10 minutes, Mrs Everett played some music to help them along. This was also enjoyed by the 'non cooks', the half of the class who were not cooking that lesson and creating design work in their folders.
Comments from some of our bakers this lesson:
'Today we really enjoyed making bread. The kneading was hard but doing it with music was very enjoyable. You should definitely try baking your own bread at home (with music as well.)'-Poppy
'I found making the bread so much fun, especially the kneading because we had some cool music and I have always loved cooking.'-Olivia.
'It looked really hard! You have to do it for 10 minutes. Surely your arms must've ached? I'm nervous to do it!'-Ethan (a non-cook.)

I can update you with news on Ethan's cooking lesson today....he survived and baked a wonderful loaf. Well done-Mrs Everett.
