In PE we have started netball and have been learning about footwork, how to pivot and some of the different netball passes. These are some pictures of us trying our best at difficult passes, making sure to keep the ball straight and not loopy. Top tip: always have fun! 19/9/2016 5JG Make a great start at CMSIt has been a busy first 2 weeks for the children in year 5 but 5JG have taken it in their stride. The children have been working hard on their place value as well as learning about the characters from 'The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe'
Well done on a great start to the year! This week the year 5 children have been taking part in a range of mathematical challenges from Numicon Combinations to whole school treasure hunts. It has been great to see all of the children getting to know each other and there has been some great conversations and thinking skills going on! - Mr Holmes Wow! What an amazing start to the school year, the children came in looking worried and left looking excited for what their future at Cranborne might hold.
The children spent the day with their new tutor group and took part in activities to allow them to familiarise themselves with the school as well as the adults and children they will be working with. The year 5 team hope everyone goes home tonight happy and has a well earn't rest ready for the start of their new timetable tomorrow. Well done year 5, a positive start to your Cranborne career. |
