Friday Night Sleepover

The Year 5 sleepover was fun and enjoyable for all the Year 5 members! We started off by going to the amazing Ancient Technology Centre (click here to learn more about the ATC) where we explored the different buildings such as the Viking Longhouse and the Earth House. 
After that, there was more fun to come because tasty hotdogs and burgers were waiting for us to eat with our friends and family when we got back to school. Next, we had a little run around before we played a few games of jailball in our tutor groups. This was incredibly fun and tiring! 
Following these activities we heard a story from Mr Greetham; it was a funny story about a girl who lost her jumper and it also included a wizard! Some members of Year 5 helped out by taking on the role of characters in the story and acting out what happened, Mr Holmes even had a starring role! When the story finished we had some hot chocolate and mini marshmallows before setting up our beds for the night.
Finally, we watched a film while snuggled up in our beds for the night (boys in the gym, girls in the hall) and ate a few sweets, it was so fun! 
Eventually we fell asleep.

We all had a great time!
