A Great Start to Year 8!

Greetings parents,
After a refreshing (yet too short!) summer holiday away from school it is nice to see our oldest group of students return for their final year at CMS.
The Year 8 students have made a very positive start to the year in terms of their behaviour and growth mindset in their lessons. In addition, they have been extremely helpful in supporting the new intake of Year 5 students find their way around school as well as getting on the right bus at the end of the day.
Throughout this year students will be presented with many exciting opportunities. For example, today is the deadline for applying for one of the Young Leader positions in Sport, French and the Arts. The Young Leader Programme gives students the opportunity to develop their communication, organisational and leadership skills in an area of their interest.
Just think...all this has happened and we've only been back a week!
