Situation of Christchurch

On your map of the south coast locate the following:
•New Forest (green)
•South Downs (green)
•Colour all towns & cities in Red
•Draw on Oxford (red)
•Draw on the M4, M3, M40, M27, M25 (blue)
•River Thames, English Channel, Bristol Channel (blue)
•Salisbury Plain (green)

Why do people want to live in Christchurch in the 21st Century?
Don’t spend more than ½ an hour.
Don’t write more than a page of A4.
Make it neat, use (and finish) your map (you should make notes on the back) and add to it if you want to.

Leadership Launch...

This week saw the launch of four different leadership opportunities for our Year 8 pupils: Sports, Arts, French and Maths Ambassadors. Mrs Williams introduced the importance of leadership and seizing every opportunity that comes your way before passing on to Mr Garza, Mrs Everett and Mr Hilder to sell their leadership role!
With a deadline of Monday a 3pm, we want to encourage as many of our pupils to apply as possible.
So pick up a pen and get writing Year 8's! You don't know unless you try!

What is Geography?

•Pick a Geography topic: volcanoes or coasts. Create a collage on one side of A4 to include the 7 concepts of geography in this topic.
•Extra challenge: Instead, pick another topic we did not study last year.

  • FOCUS ON EXCELLENT PRESENTATION!
