On Monday 30th November, Helping Hands went to go visit the elderly residents of Cranborne at the monthly coffee morning at the football club. We took games, shared stories and even enjoyed some Christmas treats together as a community. The main part of Helping Hands is helping the elderly around a time where they may feel lonely or forgotten (especially at Christmas) and we want to make sure they know that they are thought of in this festive period and that they should not feel alone. This Wednesday (December 6th) we are hosting a Christmas tea at CMS to spread some festive cheer and share a dinner together to feel one as a community. By: Eloise L Leave a Reply. |
