Year 8 are today lucky enough to be able to experience a performance called 'Gemma's Wardrobe' by Solomon Theatre. Gemma's Wardrobe supports schools as they approach issues of self-esteem, effective communication in different relationships via different social media, and the development of good judgement, together with exploring the implications of the misuse of drugs.
The live performance is fast-moving, somewhat 'theatrical' in style, with two male actors playing multiple roles around the central figure of Gemma. It is followed by an interactive workshop, during which students experience a range of drama-based activities which extend and develop the themes raised in the show. Leave a Reply. |
