For homework Year 7 have been asked to research an English Monarch who ruled between 1066 and 1485. 
They need to create a profile on a page of A4 and include:
•A picture of the monarch
•The dates they lived
•What they are famous for

You may also want to add more detail about their success / failure, their children and the legacy they left for England.

The best ones will be displayed (their authors will be rewarded) so you might be best looking into a less well known king as I can only display one William the Conqueror and remember, you need to keep all the information on a page of A4.

Our Yr7 pupils have been busy all afternoon participating in a variety of workshops. They have learnt about teamwork, communication, games planning and dance!

Ten Year 7 pupils have been busy brushing up on their leadership skills at today’s Dorset Primary Leadership Academy at Poole High School. After arriving and getting into their brand new Bronze Ambassador t-shirts, the group set to work planning exactly how they were going to motivate KS2 pupils back at school to take part in more physical activity. Some superb ideas have been suggested and we are all very excited to get back to school and start putting them into practice.
The team have suggested planning and delivering an assembly for our younger pupils as well as designing posters for tutor rooms to advertise their new reward scheme. Watch this space for more news!
