Year 7 have had a fantastic day on the lake today! We all arrived in the sunny South of France and had our first meal at the camp. Then we went for a quick tour around the campsite and stretched our legs, which was sorely needed after all that time on the coach! No time was wasted as we donned our buoyancy aids, and our instructors took us out on the water to learn how to sail various crafts. Lots of splashing occurred, as well as many applications of sun cream. After a brief lunch break, we were out on the water again, it is safe to say we all have our sea legs now. The session was topped off by the pupils, myself (Ms Clasby) and Mrs Williams leaping into the water, and all of us swimming back to shore in the beautiful lake!
Our evening activity done and everyone is in bed for some well earned rest. Apologies for the lack of photos today, we are having some issues with our WiFi, we will upload as soon as we can. Leave a Reply. |
